Résumé :
Circus Advocacy Day is an annual event organised by Circus Information Centre in Zagreb. Established in 2012, the event was conceived with an idea of promoting examples of good practice that can contribute to the development of Croatian circus sector. This year’s topic was circus education, a recurring theme in the conversations between circus artists. In the last couple of decades the world has seen considerable shifts in this department. In Croatia there is an evolving interest for a more systematic approach to circus education and certain efforts exist to develop and validate this field on the broader art scene. The main goal of this conference was to bring together circus experts as well as those from other areas in order to share and exchange different experiences in the field of artistic education, especially on the higher level.
