“Conversations on Circus Teaching“ is a book that brings an overview of the historic development and the current position of the modern circus education, suggesting along the way some possible directions of its further development. This edition is a collection of interviews with the teachers, principals and other key contributors to the circus pedagogy from Australia, Canada, France, Netherlands, Spain and Great Britain. Pioneers of the western circus schools tell us about their challenges and dilemmas, about responsibility and ethics, but also of their institutions’ different establishment models, wondering at the same time about the ideal circus school of the future.
